I opened Uraga Barber Shop with one simple dream: to give my neighbours a space that feels like home. A good haircut is about more than just how you look — it’s about how you feel when you walk out.

The most important thing I always looked for was the Customer service part which is something that lack in other shops but URAGA BARBERSHOP surpass this even in this small diverse neighborhood. I travel from queens to Brooklyn to mostly get my son’s haircuts and he loves the attention with them, especially with Sussy. She’s a peach! Offers drinks and a place to sit and chat. In addition she blessed me with the best experience even through my graduation time. Love the shop and her staff.

I came to Suzy as a new client and was treated like a regular as soon as I walked through the door. I got a more modern mullet-type haircut with a fade which Suzy executed perfectly! As others have mentioned the service is superb. The attention to detail is also what you’d find at a “high-end” shop: hot towel and razor edge finish. Come here if you want a crisp haircut while being treated like a high end client.

Suzy is the best! I was in the area for a party and was looking for someone who could cut my 4c hair last minute. I booked online at 3 and she took me at 5pm on time. And she had excellent customer service. She was friendly and gave me a hot towel and a brief massage at the end - no charge. Thanks! I will definitely return.

I've been getting my haircuts here for the past three years - I'm glad I found this place is in my neighborhood. The haircuts from Susy and the other barbers I've seen have all been great. I feel I'm able to ask for specifics and they'll listen and work with me to get what I want, or I can just give a simple ask and they'll make it work. It always feels welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend.
